4 days agoIs there a database that collects these cases? I’m not from the US, but I think it would make a lot of sense to have a website that documents all those cases, so one could point people to it if necessary.

The trainspotting and the Jackie Brown soundtrack were the only CDs people wanted to hear at parties for a time. I learned to hate them both. The only boy who could ever teach me… And: I got a lust for life… Really annoy me now because of that.

When the idea that we live on in the memories of the people who liked us, means sth to you, I would keep them. Every time you stumble over their entry this memory gets reactivated. I think that is a nice thing.
My grandmother died 40 years ago and she told me, when I was very little, to fold the seems of the coffee filter before you put it in. Everytime I make coffee I think about her because of that.
I don’t have a car but if I rent one the only “advanced” feature I want is: Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
2·2 months agoI remember typing a whole afternoon with a friend just so the screen did alternate colors, it was so underwhelming I think that killed any spark that I might have had for programming.
Some pong clone that was integrated in our neighbors TV.
For me throwing a graph in and telling it to create a table from it and stuff like that is really super helpful, since I often have to do this, and by hand it’s a very tedious job. Sorting and cleaning tables and translating stuff is super handy and I use it quite often. But other then that I don’t care.
