I’ll admit I’m not sure of the pros/cons of either. All I know about sheep/goats is that sheep produce wool, and goats produce milk…and I’m pretty sure the only reason I know that, is due to one of the many city builders I’ve played 😂

That’s a pretty boss move, I don’t know if I’d be that quick thinking
Omen, Excorcist, Nightmare on Elm St, Jason, Cujo, Friday the 13th - I was a very free range kid. The one that really sticks out is (IIRC) The Amityville Horror. There is a scene with these red glowing eyes down a dark hallway…the adult in me knows it was probably just some guy with two flashlights, but it still raises the hairs on my arms thinking about it
The microplastics in my body laugh at arsenic’s petty attempt on my life!
If you’re a chili purist, I’d recommend not ordering chili in Cincinnati. Way back when, some Greek guy wanted to sell Greek meat sauce to a bunch of Germans, but he wasn’t gaining any traction - because what sausage loving German wants Greek meat water.
He then had the bright idea of renaming it ‘chili,’ and an unholy abomination was concieved that day, it threatened to plunge all of existence into the void…actually if you’ve ever had italian (the tomato based) meat sauce on spaghetti, it’s kinda like that, just with a handful of cinnamon and neon yellow shredded cheese…because, why not. Folks in Cincinnati seem to like it though, so much so they sell it in cans in the grocery stores
I too loose it when people can’t get the difference, it’s like c’mon, you can’t be so lose with your words
Sorry, couldn’t help myself 😁
Don’t worry, it finally gets renamed in 2630
I see you woke up and chose violence. Dueling pistols at dawn it is then
For me, it’s actually much better for file name sorting - and just about everything else. It numerically orders items in a logical manner allowing for batch processing of large sets of data using wildcards or regex, but I understand that it may not fit everyone’s usecase…which is why, it seems everyday, there’s someone introducing a new date format
For me it’s YYYY-MM-DD https://www.iso.org/iso-8601-date-and-time-format.html
Also, there is a special place for those people who keep making up new timestamps
Beavers can be a great help in restoring wetlands. They’re being released in California to help stop wildfires as their ponds are natural firebreaks…unfortunately when they build around humans it doesn’t always work out. They’ve been known to flood neighborhoods and wash out roads.
I saw a documentary a while back where they were washing out roads (in Canada IIRC) by damning up the drains that run under the roads. They just have a built in need to stop flowing water. Instead of killing or re-locating the beavers, the guy being interviewed realized if they laid out a secondary conduit (large hose) in the drain, the beavers could damn up the drain but the water would still flow from one side of the road to the other. If I can find it again I’ll post it
I was just trying to share a story I found positive, and made me feel good. I had no idea grazing sheep was such a controversial topic 😃
I guess I’ll have to scrutinize any future post I contribute
That’s true, but they are more efficient and cost effective than running gas powered mowers around solar panels. The added bonus of not needing to purchase feed during parts of the year is also a nice plus
From this article it sounds like he’s one of those religious nuts trying to force their views on everyone. He probably starts off every conversation with “well, you know, as a Christian.”
It’s never about religion with a POS like this, it’s almost always about control. Hopefully the lawsuit gets tossed before it costs the school district too much money, and he can go work at a religious school where his views will probably not cause waves
Pretty sure that’s what they do. When I was school most teachers had trouble pronouncing some names, so they’d just ask us what we preferred to be called, or how we’d prefer our names to be pronounced and they’d make a note.
Most kids had nicknames that they preferred to use anyway, so that’s what how they’d be addressed. All official paperwork had the given name, but their friends, and teachers would just refer to them by the name they preferrred…which is why this whole name situation is just baffing to me. I’m guessing they didn’t renew his contract for other/additional reasons, this is just his way or trying to hit back
TiL. I’m going to have to play around with this, thank you!
pizza fried rice bean and potato soup chimichanga gyro
I put it on basically anything that’s fatty/greasy. I feel it helps to balance out the flavours with the right amount of acid
I’ve been using a pair of scissors to cut my spagetti, a knife would probably be way easier to clean. Thanks for the tip, I’ll let everyone know how it goes!
Same here, I feel as though I see the Oral-B heads on sale at least once a month, but the Sonicare heads are almost never on sale. Years ago I noticed the Philips Sonicare site running sales around Black Friday, but there haven’t been any for the last couple of Black Fridays.
Every now and again I’ll see discounted heads on Amazon, but I’ve also heard stories that there is a 50/50 chance of getting a knock-off that won’t work with handles - as Amazon combines all of their products for storage regardless of the seller
