I’m more privy to “_fireFox” when declaring my browser.
Jokes on you, the trash heap is now deliciously seasoned.
Why did you buy your pet some ashes?
I was in London last month, the city is amazingly quiet because of all the electric cars, buses, taxis etc. I read it’s like, 70% of all London City traffic is electric? It’s beautiful.
I said I’d make a musical RPG video game, and spent the last six years as a solo Dev for it. It’s now coming to steam at the end of this year.
Next I want to write a musical set in New Zealand about the Maori Land Wars. I have two Maori brothers who were embarrassed of their skin colour (rural NZ is pretty racist). I want to show how formidable and powerful a people the Maori were/are, in a style akin to Les Mis.
OP is referring to the word “Nazi” when referring to “the N word”.
SquigglyEmpire is trying to say that “the N word” typically refers to a derogatory word for black people, not for Nazi.
Video games would probably ban you for saying Nazi because it’s a nasty thing to call someone or be called. It probably isn’t relevant to the game and it’s a topic they’d probably prefer not to have discussed.
I swapped from my classic Granny Smith to Kanzi and/or SweeTango under his recommendation, and haven’t looked back. He turned apples from a bottom of the barrel fruit to up there with plums and tangelos for me.
The reason I thought apples were trash fruit was from eating the common varieties - the royal galas, the braeburns, the red delicious. Trash apples, not trash fruit.
In Maori, Maua means “we”, or “both of us”. It’s also shorthand for “we share similar beliefs”.
Could have gone that route.
I played Paper Mario for the N64 and had a blast, super good game that I couldn’t put down. Nice to know there are N64 games I’ve never played that still hold up
Huh, wasn’t aware of that. Well, after a bit more research, excluding that one species in that one study, there are no exclusively homosexual animals.
The issue with finding homosexual behaviour in animals is that it’s never exclusive. Homosexual animals tend to be bisexual at best, and can often be chalked up to erroneous mating.
A lot of these studies are used to validate human homosexuality and harm the “it’s unnatural!” argument touted by conservatives. However using a Call to Nature is fallacious, and could be used to validate all number of animal behaviour.
Maybe it’s like those Facebook posts where you tell Mark Zuckerberg that he’s not allowed to profit off your photos.
I don’t understand how you pick a team if you werent born in an area with a team. Like, as a New Zealander, how can I get excited for a premiere league team that I essentially pick at random?
It really was excellent in its infancy, once you’d honed your algorithm. Some of the funniest, sharpest content on the internet at the time, with a really tight knit in-joke machine - reminiscent of early internet communities. It boomered up and burnt out, but there was certainly a spark there.
I feel like a false-flag wouldn’t have shot the PM so convincingly that he’d be “fighting for his life”. Like, a “missed me” assassination attempt would be near as effective without the near death.
Calling someone a Muppet. In NZ (and to a lesser degree, UK/Australia), it’s a common thing to call someone who’s being an idiot. Not sure why. I think as a nation we generally like the Muppets, but not someone who’s being a Muppet.
Opposite monkey paw situation, as cows are no longer farmed due to the poison risk, global emissions are massively reduced. And the huge amounts of land dedicated to feeding cows is returned to forestry, further reducing emissions.
The poisonous cows solve climate change long before the vegans can.
