I have terrible difficulties to enjoy those anime that require irreal coloured hair stiles and eccentric complements to distinguish the characters…

Recently I felt a bit of freshness with an anime, which faces I do not find “beautiful” or well drawn at all, but they were all quite distinguishable without the need of weird coloured hair… Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction, despite the cartoonish style for once in a while I was glad to not see an endless amount of plain “beautiful” stereotyped faces…

I cannot avoid to be pedantic on this, it is recharged during half the trip… it just does not require plug-like recharging

I really would love to be able to tag this kind of beings capable of such actions in a way that I can recognise them when I find them out there in person, not for violence of any kind against them, a % of humans are alike and may be useful for certain tasks, but to take informed decision about with whom prioritise my altruism or any social collective benefit: I may share this planet with them, but I will never call them my people.

Not from that field, and I think it depends a lot of the field, country, etc, but research is not an idilic world at all and deal with huge flaws from the real world, institutions, society and economics, not aside of human being’s flaws, so it can be deeply disappointing in some aspects. I believe is a natural in any guild (there is shit everywhere, e.g. police require internal affairs for a good reason, but not only, they suffer from funding restrictions, metrics for promotion, etc, and the same can be said for medicine, politics, etc) so in the end it may be your ability to deal with real world shit… and luck.

I see those challenges mostly affected and still affect e-mail and the Web and survived somehow so far, they are indeed not free from them, threats return from time to time when a Big Tech get a large quota: not like my opinion is important nor an expert one but I think the decentralisation philosophy is well beyond the fediverse only and its destiny is linked to it in the same way as other things.

What would you expect from a word predictor, a knife is mostly useless for nailing, you are using them for the wrong purpose…
