Thank fucking God. It never should have been a thing ever.
For me it didn’t work on x11 either. It would for like a bit but then alvr would disconnect.
If you use scaling some apps can be blurry. Oh and screen sharing doesn’t work on discord cause they refuse to update their app. Other than that it was smooth sailing for me
yeah? I use gnome and VR didn’t work. This plus the recent fix for gnome means I can play it in VR. I coulda just used KDE but I didn’t feel like it
I’ve never been more happy that someone was wrong, sorry it had to be you
No man’s sky VR here I come
If there’s a will there’s a way. I’m sure there’s a way for the pixel 3a
Damn I actually have one, oldie but still has a better camera then my current phone. Just needs a new screen.

Foobar is a piss poor reason cause 1 it’s shit but to each their own. 2 I’m 95% positive it works perfectly with wine for years now
Front and back cameras work perfectly. Not sure about IR, didn’t even know it had it
So far the surface pro 3 been working great for me. Still no secure boot or tpm but I think I just did something wrong when I followed the guide
For me the reason I love Linux is because it’s made by the people using it. Fedora devs for example have an issue personally and fix it. Every change makes sense but Ubuntu seems to be doing their own thing and not listening to the issues their users are having making it annoying to use. They push software no one in the community wants to use and modify the fuck out of everything they package creating their own issues. I loved Ubuntu back in the day because it was my first distro but now it’s just far off from what they used to be
