Hot and Scaled are my main sorts. I alternate a couple of times a day. They get me the most interesting content.
I only check the first 3 pages of Active twice per day.
Edit: New is once per week and I generally regret it.

Pathfinder_Kingmaker. I spent ages talking about builds and strategies on that reddit sub. I still miss guiding new players into the games. The BG3 community is the closest I’ve found but it doesn’t scratch quite the same itch due to 5e’s simplicity.
Pathfinder does have a few active communities but they are all for the tabletop. The one for the game on Lemmy.world is dead as a doornail.

Never heard of it. Can’t be too big.
That comes later but I like the energy.
Oh well. Youtube is useful as a podcast/streamer host now; no ads with sponsor block/ublock. Once that isn’t the case they (Google) will get network blocked.
No real loss to me. I tend to prefer local download/host for convenience. Most channels are chaff anyway.
You don’t have to play/complete the quest. If you play the game (Skyrim) and pick up the item (and you will find it fairly early) it triggers the very loud audio que.
Most of us older gamers have made more than one Skyrim run and this announcement is something that I’ve personally heard several hundred times.
It already exists in the corporate environment. Teams is a keystroke logger, it stores everything you do down to the microsecond in a plain txt on the C drive. This just expands that to everyone that uses Windows.
Windows is spyware now.
Wondering what happened to Thorium. If it’s not viable a link that can be shared will be beyond platinum.
Thorium was experimental last I heard, but far from unviable.
So looking at the article it seems to be against small scale traditional (fission/boiler) systems. Which are fair game. They were pretty much outdated over 50 years ago. I would be more interested in studies on dispersed Thorium Reactors which held far more potential as little as a decade ago.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This situation is an example of idiots on both sides. The activist could have looked at Potato production in France and Filipino Farmers could have looked at the US South prior to enriched flour. Grow Golden Rice for export and it will become a commodity crop. I know several farmers in the US that would love to grow Golden Rice and no-one outside the Philippines can get the stuff due to the genetics group that is stupidly restricting it due to grain quantity. IF the Philippines doesn’t want it the rest of the world isn’t that dumb. You just got the money for humanitarian reasons you lucky fucks.
Thankfully skippable logos and SRS are standard now. Devs won that round.

Well it’s good to know you are a cop (BS of CJ), as it means you aren’t an engineer. Given that I have designed jails, courthouses, and police stations I can say that your BS means basically nothing in this as you are mostly trained in criminal law rather than building code.
Holding time, local building code, and CA budget are the biggest constraints for the buildings in question. 4-8hrs holding period does not require and often doesn’t get a plumbing connection.
I think you and google are missing the difference between Jail, Prison, and Holding Cells. the combined unit you show is only common in Prison and long term county lvl jails; for cities/town/district jails and holding cells they may or may not even have a toilet as they are designed around an 4-8hr stay limit.
Most likely what happened is that a district detention got overwhelmed and just placed people in secure locations and lost track of them. Hanlon’s razor.
Lasers and barbecues not so much yet, but Blue Whales, Humback Whales, and Whale Sharks have effectively turned their teeth into fishing nets.
Less, one of the major genetic innovations of the late Cambrian was development of jaws. The vast majority of these species would get wrecked by modern fish in moments.
I try to participate on the lemmy.world community but it’s pretty slow.
