Love the passive voice there. ‘because they’ve come under attack’. Definitely don’t mention who is bombing humanitarian convoys.

Are they building them in the black sea?
There’s a long history of the Russian Navy being humiliated. I don’t think there’s been any positive stories at all.
Also, canonical decided to try and solve the same ‘problem’ in a different, equally convoluted way.
The satanic temple usually does stuff like this.
I really don’t understand why they still use those heavy lead acid ones. Couldn’t you at least get a lighter lithium battery if it has to be a separate circuit?
If you replaced every vehicle with an electric airplane the electricity needed would be astronomical.
Yep, you choose between Spotify, Tidal, etc based on price and how well the app works, not because one service has the band you like while the other one doesn’t (not that music streaming isn’t its own shitshow for other reasons, of course).
I’m guessing banging your employees counts as work to this guy.
You pay like $5/Mo for the content of all streaming services and more instead of the $500/Mo it would cost to subscribe to each of them individually. Plus you’re not taking any legal risk as a customer.
All of those things already exist. Typically it’s just a Plex server running on a cloud service.
It’s not even copyright laws, it’s everyone insisting on exclusive contracts. There’s no reason a piece of content couldn’t be on Netflix and Disney+ at the same time. It would be a lot better for consumers if streamers could compete on price and service instead of which content they managed to create/licence.
This has been my theory of his continued popularity. He takes every side of every issue, that way anyone can be targeted with ads that match their beliefs.
It’s not even a conscious choice by him, it’s just the way real estate salespeople work, they’ll say whatever it takes to close the deal, there’s no need to be consistent from one prospective buyer to the next.
Yeah, you would think you could just change the chambers and bullets so only a certain standard of blanks would fit in it, although I guess those guns would become more expensive than the real mass produced ones.
Either way, this is all the result of Baldwin as executive producer cheaping out on every aspect of this shoot, causing this to happen.
That’s what I was including as an option within ‘or worse’, but I haven’t seen any evidence of it (mostly because the democrats didn’t seem to be interested in investigating this when they had both chambers).
There was no primary this year. The democrats managed to cancel them in a bunch of states even though Biden would’ve easily sailed through against the democratic candidates (uncommitted beat both of them combined where that was an option).
I mean, I know this specific investigation is in bad faith, but it was pretty widely known something was going to go down in DC and the Capitol Police definitely dropped the ball on this one (among other law enforcement agencies).
Democrats should really be the ones investigating this but for whatever reason they’d rather run cover for the organisation that almost got them killed through incompetence, negligence or worse.
But in order to get the money for those programs, especially if their effect is to lower the workload for police, you should get the money from the police budget, otherwise it’s just wasted money. Are you just going to keep giving the NYPD a billion dollars a year to do nothing?
And if they think the only reason black people haven’t killed a bunch of white people as part of a race war because they just haven’t really had a convenient excuse for it, they haven’t really been paying attention to history.
In retrospect it was never about delivering aid, it was a piece of infrastructure they could use to ‘rescue’ those 4 hostages.
