This is exactly what I mean … just because someone committed one murder and got caught, it doesn’t mean that they didn’t commit multiple other murders that will never be known about.

A she bitch of a goat’s gizzard
Probably more than will ever be known.
One of the creepiest kinds of murders that I’ve read about or watched on TV shows was the random murder. A murder where a killer just randomly kills someone in a random part of the country for no reason. The murderer just goes into a town or city they’ve never been to before, commits a murder, leaves and never returns. The murderer can leave traces and clues but none if would be connected to anyone or anything in the area … no motive, no reason, no connection, no witnesses, no nothing … just a murderer who kills someone for no reason and disappears … and is capable of doing it again and again without ever being discovered.
Fascinating and frightening.
I really don’t care anymore … when a new movie is announced, I really don’t care to do anything special to go out and see it. I just forget about it and wait a year or two and watch it as a stream on one of the services I already pay for.
It usually works out. If the movie was crap, everyone will tell me, I’ll read about it or see low review scores for and just never bother watching it ever … or it’s released on Netflix, Disney or Amazon and I watch it there a year or two later.
If it has great reviews and not available anywhere, then I just wait a year and rent it for $5 and watch it at home.
There’s more than enough content to last a lifetime, I’m not spending any more money to watch the latest greatest movie as soon as it comes out.
They should just scribble into the definitions of Genocide in the UN … ‘except for Israel’
The MIR machine runs Arch BTW
“Don’t be evil” …

$1,000 to give birth is just the start of the payment process to having a child
Last I read, on average to raise a child with the most basic requirements to give it a decent life in North America to the age of 18, the estimate was about $200,000 - $300,000 … that was about 20 years ago I read that, it’s probably way more now.
Alien: … yeah get the tranquilizer gun … and the anal probe … no, no, not that one … no, no, bigger … no, bigger and wider … yeah, that’s the one
Bambi: First Blood … directed by Michael Bay
Or hiring two guys to be co-referees for the no holds barred orgy that’s about to start.
I think you’re one of the coolest people in the fediverse … keep flying you crazy squid
@FlyingSquid@lemmy.world … your squid signal has been shone into the fediverse skyline
How about farm workers … I’m up in Canada and I know because I’ve seen entire farm communities in southern Ontario base their entire business on immigrant labor that was either legal, illegal and everything in between. Around Norfolk (a region southwest of Toronto), entire towns are filled with Mexican, Haitian, Dominican and more recently, African workers as labor for the planting, management and harvest.
We all have cheap vegetables in North America because of cheap immigrant labor that our governments allow into the country to work (for little to no money) but not to stay.
I spent about ten minutes trying to figure out if this was just an Onion headline … only to realize it is indeed an Onion headline … this is beautiful
The latest Star Wars films have million dollar CGI and special effects budgets but all these guys had was a lamp and a plaid blanket and they made a film that was way better.
This is what I love about these guys … they know full well that this is wrong, this is unacceptable and that the majority of people don’t support them … which is why they wear a mask to hide themselves. They are brazen enough to step out in public to display what they want but they are cowardly enough to not want to be identified.
