I don’t want the encryption equivalent of a TSA approved luggage lock.
I moved forward on a car purchase because modern cars contain lots of fancy electronics that could and probably will be impacted by tariffs.
I’m not saying you should buy a car that you weren’t otherwise planning to buy, but if you need something in the electronics area, moving it up a few months might not be a terrible idea.
My concern is that some driving situations need to be resolved immediately. That handover could be an issue.
Does that include me?
Definitely not a binary situation. Did it live up to all expectations? Certainly not, but I hesitate to label it a failure if they use the chip in an appropriately-priced device.
