There is no default:’friend’ on the backend. This is a template language that basically takes a first name, returns the first word, replaces any special characters with ASCII equivalent ones (e.g., ö => o), title cases it, and if it’s blank it will return ‘friend’ instead of an empty string.

I tell my kids that a) they must graduate high school, and then either go to college or learn a trade. Regardless, they need to be educated.

I’m taking Tuesday off, and after voting, I plan to spend my morning with my boys working in the yard. Then I’ll take them to their mother’s so they can play with the neighbor’s grandson. After that, I’m treating my kids to their favorite restaurant, finished off with some local ice cream.

I don’t understand why they don’t just migrate .io into a non-country code domain. Hell, they could auction it off to anybody (company, country, or person) who wants it bad enough. Let it live alongside the other custom domains.

I did fail to mention that last night, when dropping my son off to trick or treat with her son, she invited me to go with them. I had to decline because I was taking my other son trick or treating elsewhere.
