Just you wait…
Man, people have no memory.
What was the total payout per-person of the Trump checks? Something like $2000? We only got those because the country was on lockdown, and that’s only like a month’s worth of expenses for me (and I live in a relatively low COL area).
Maybe 30 to 45 minutes in Merritt Island, Florida, back in 2004.
It was my first time voting, and I went with my parents after they were home from work, so it’s likely that that was the longest anyone there waited.
I’ve lived all over central Florida since, and have never had to wait at all, but that’s mostly because I do Early Voting or even Vote By Mail now.
Check out Crime Pays But Botany Doesn’t (aka Joey Santore, aka Tony Santoro). He’s been a vocal advocate for the “kill your lawn” / natural landscaping crowd for a while, and also I just really enjoy him.
He worked on/is working on a cable TV show called “Kill Your Lawn” too, but it’s not super widely available. You can find some episodes of that on YouTube as well.
I can’t be sure this was the primary use-case that the AI inventors envisioned, but it’s hard to argue that it’s not successful at this. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
There’s a reason the lyrics are “Some of those who work forces burn crosses.”
I think you dropped this:
are the same that
to start to delegitimize the illegitimate J6 committee
How does one delegitimize that which is already illegitimate? 🤔
I love walking sims, exploration games, and mysteries… Kona was such a great title. Really moody and atmospheric. Looking forward to picking up the sequel soon, maybe during this sale. Thanks for sharing!
In some circles, obsessing over youths’ genitalia is considered uncouth.
This is a great summary of the game, I just wanted to add on that you don’t necessarily have to start a new character for expeditions. They added the “Expedition Terminus” in the Space Anomaly a few updates back, which lets you start the expedition from an existing save.
That said, I always start a new character, because those first couple hours where I’m trying to get on my feet are always the most challenging for me, and that keeps the game fresh by pushing me outside my usual style of engaging with the game.
Doesn’t seem to be livin,’ until he bites ya, and those black eyes roll over white, and then…
It’d be great if Churches allocated a little time to preaching the value of critical thinking skills so that their congregation wasn’t so susceptible to misinformation, but then… Well, you know.
Inb4 someone on TikTok shows how to bypass that sensor by jamming an orange in it -__-
I got a TCL with Google TV earlier this year (the same model was available from both Best Buy and Wal-Mart), can confirm that I didn’t have to sign into anything or even connect it to the net to use the coax or HDMI ports. Also it remembers the last used connection, so I don’t even have to skip past the Google TV stuff when I turn it on.
One step closer to the Fallout games becoming reality, which is at least potentially cool in some ways.
But we’re not talking about MAGA as a group, we’re talking about people, without any regard for their political affiliation: Natural disasters aren’t checking people’s voter registration.
Only about 39% of active Florida voters are registered Republican (sure, some are NPA and vote Republican), but there’s at least 29% of us who are registered Democrat and voting in every local and federal election, but here we are anyway.
If you feel the urge to argue for collective punishment just shut the fuck up.
I started writing up this lengthy comment about how this article isn’t even about people displaced by the storms so much as those who were already homeless before, and how only ~39% of Florida voters are registered Republican, and even then we’re talking about whole families and single mothers here, and about government corruption and voter disenfranchisement, but… You said it all, and much more succinctly. Thank you!
It’s wild seeing a message of intelligence, empathy and compassion getting downvoted, while several other messages condemning all religious folks everywhere get solidly positive responses. I’m strongly atheist myself, but only sith deal in absolutes… Or maybe I’m just fortunate like you, to have met a real variety of people in my life, so I know that there’s a possibility that there is more to someone than just what I read about them on the internet. Either way, I like your take and I appreciate that you voiced it here.
Seems more likely to push them to make even safer financial decisions, like re-releasing the movies that performed well earlier in the year, or pushing out AI video generator content.
Yup.
