Nou, hij is inderdaad onfatsoenlijk bezig doordat hij gewoonweg met hun in zee ging. En doordat hij verkiezingsbeloften maakte, terwijl hij die niet kon verwezenlijken. Hij had ook gewoon voet bij stuk kunnen houden, en met GL/PvdA, D66 en CDA samen kunnen werken, met VVD als gedoogpartner. Ook zei de partij van tevoren (hetzij in maar één zin) zich uit te spreken vóór lhbti-rechten, terwijl ze vervolgens later bij de wet tot vereenvoudiging van geslachtsregistratie, die de bureaucratie zou hebben verminderd, juist afkeurend opstelde.

Heeft Omtzigt juist gehandeld door met de grootste partij te spreken? Zeker. Maar als die partij de rechtsstaat constant ondermijnt, en samenspant met Rusland, dan vrees ik dat het bij spreken moet worden gelaten. Want luister naar de woorden: “Heb uw naaste lief”. Worden zij wel nog nageleefd, als die naaste gediscrimineerd wordt?

Natuurlijk, het grotere gevaar is extreemrechts zelf. Maar dat betekent niet dat alleen extreemrechts het probleem is: het probleem is dat het zo invloedrijk kan worden, juist door deze samenwerkingen. Vergeet niet dat huisjesmelkers als Van Haga en Russische collaborateurs (alsmede koloniale onderdrukkers) als Wilders hier vrolijk aan mee helpen. Extreemrechts schreeuwt moord en brand, maar is de aanstichter van het probleem zelf.

Dit terwijl rechtse partijen als de VVD extreemrechts helpen door juist zelf links de schuld te geven (terwijl links juist in weinig kabinetten een leidende rol had), en niets te doen aan de huizenmarkt of hun eigen corruptie. Om maar te zwijgen van het verhinderen en uitstellen van klimaatmaatregelen door het CDA, waardoor de boeren juist later nog meer de dupe werden, en boos werden.

De BBB werd zo groot doordat het CDA niet vroeg genoeg aan de bel trok en gepaste maatregelen nam.

De VVD kromp zo doordat Yesilgöz en Rutte uit eigenbelang het kabinet lieten opblazen. Dit omdat de één gezinnen liever scheidt en daarmee kapotmaakt (en onconstructief spreekt) dan een spreiding te doorvoeren ; en de ander wilde een nieuwe baan en vergat daarbij alles, en loog doelbewust over of hij van de affaire wist.

De PVV groeide zo doordat de huizennood groeide en pensioenen zo krompen, en ze de media naar de hand zetten, terwijl de media als gevolg van een krimpend publiek ook lagere kwaliteitscontrole heeft, waardoor negatieve stereotypen vaker belicht werden. En zo de immigrant de zondebok werd en verder gediscrimineerd (waardoor een vicieuze cirkel kwam), terwijl deze juist nodig is om de vergrijzing op te vangen.

Kinderbijslag verhogen, miljonairs en miljardairs daadwerkelijk belasten (zonder dat ze deze kunnen ontduiken), de oudere iets meer ontzien, en de jongere écht betaald (dwz., de staat betaalt) laten studeren, de gevestigde media een bundel geld geven die ze in een onafhankelijk fonds kunnen stoppen (op voorwaarde dat de financiëring naar kwaliteitscontrole gaat), immigratieëisen aanscherpen zonder haatzaaierij zijn samen een oplossing.

En laat nou geen van die partijen zich daar billijk tegenover stellen.

Het had ook beter kunnen zijn. Door niet 3 x zoveel camera’s op te hangen, maar minder.

Those are great and work well if you want to convince people who are leaning Biden, but if you want to convince Trump leaners, you might tweak the wordings a little. No need to mention the dangerous parts of anti-women’s rights stuff (ie. wanting to forbid abortion, thereby making women’s deaths much more likely), because that won’t convince them. The language they understand of “climate” is not “good measures”, but “I’m getting taxed and now I can’t pay my bills”. You need to speak in terms of fear. That the person who makes their bills higher, is actually Trump. Don’t do so by directly starting with how Trump is bad. Instead, say, interesting you vote for him, question, question more, push, but not too far… and then once you got them hooked, question them by fears. Then don’t tell them what the answer is (unless if they ask or seem to want one), but let them think. Let them figure it out. This will have a better effect.

Granted, I’m not familiar with all what happens in the USA, but perhaps those also help.

Je kunt niet iemand in diens waarde laten als je diegene uitscheldt voor flikker, spuugt, ernaar sist omdat diegene transgender is, misnoemt, homovlaggen verbrandt, enzovoorts. Dat gedrag komt veel te vaak voor. In sommige landen word je zelfs in de gevangenis gegooid of geëxecuteerd (Oeganda bijvoorbeeld) als je ook maar niet cis en hetero bent. En als vrouw is het niet veel beter, dan word je uitgehuwelijkt, en zelfs in het westen heb je nog te vaak dat je als vrouw maar moet accepteren dat er een engerd aan je kont zit.

Zou jij zelf ook willen worden buitengesloten, uitgescholden en gestalkt, alleen omdat je van een andere volwassene houdt die dezelfde lichaamsbouw heeft? Omdat je het waagt je partners hand vast te houden? Of omdat je over je eigen lichaam durft te beschikken? (Terwijl er niemand wat over tattoo’s zegt?)

“Cancelen” bestond al veel langer, het had slechts een andere naam, zoals “(handels)embargo’s”, “damnatio memoriae”, “boycotten” enzovoorts. De oude Romeinen deden het al, de Kerk deed het, en jazeker: het wordt door rechtsextremisten vooral als term gebruikt om “problemen en discriminatie aankaarten” negatief te bestempelen.

Sta er even bij stil dat wanneer rechtsextremisten roepen over de media vervangen, over homovrije zones enz., zij eigenlijk de daadwerkelijke cancellers zijn. Er is geen nuance hier, omdat lhbti-foben zelf geen nuance kennen: zij haten iemand puur als zondebok voof hun eigen problemen.

Als jij je onpasselijk voelt omdat er een regenboogvlag uithangt, dan ligt misschien het probleem bij jou, niet bij de vlag zelf. Natuurlijk: bedrijven die pride witwassen, dat is niets. Maar dat zij de vlag uithangen, geeft in ieder geval zichtbaarheid aan de gemeenschap, en dat is goed. Het beste zou zijn als mensen zelf hieraan bijdragen. En daar kun jij een goede stap mee maken.

Juist door berichten als het jouwe waar ““nuance”” aanwezig is, is het nodig dat er daar bewustzijn over is. Misschien goed om daarover na te denken bij de volgende keer dat je die gedachten hebt, want jouw denkbeelden zijn discriminerend, ook voor jezelf.

Mocht dit alles jou niet van gedachten doen veranderen, dan heb ik slechts één suggestie: vertrek eens naar Rusland, misschien vind je het daar zo leuk. Je kunt geen Nederlander zijn zonder voor je medemens op te komen.

Sure, it might be AC1 in its “purest” form, but that is because it’s just the first game, which sets the tone. I give it credit for doing that, but that’s it. I do recall that at the time it was received relatively lackluster.

Exchange Odyssey with 1, correct for what the consoles and computers were capable for at the time, and you might say the same, that it would’ve been AC in its purest form, and nowadays it’s all underbloated and too poor, not rich in detail.

Personally, I found the parkour in the first few games very boring. It certainly did have restrictions of movement. You could not climb outside city walls, or stones, or trees. May I remind you that games from III (when Desmond died) and on, actually started in that?

I fear your memory might be selective, but no one is holding you back from playing the older games. I personally prefer the newer ones as they actually do have deeper stories.

So, yes: I do give the first game crap, because it is not accessible for handicapped people (eg. a lack of good subtitles), and it was very glitchy (you could only attack the Lionheart when you pushed him through the corridor, when this was not intended gameplay). And all that, while it should have been accessible and less glitchy and repetitive, even compared to other games at the time.

You simply have a rosy coloured view of the past, I’m afraid; try looking more rosy towards the future, be thankful, and there may be less reason for chagrin. Have a good evening.

4. That said, that you think later games don’t have their own mythology, may be signs that you never played those games, because they also draw forth on those in-game mythologies. 'Course, I cannot say so, but if you haven’t, I suggest you to do so; and if you reject, then you have no right to complain, honestly. Complain once you’ve played through it.
