The company I work for does B2B and clients do the same shit. 45-90 day pay cycle after invoicing. That shit kills smaller businesses.
Sorry m8, I wasn’t exaggerating, and I just don’t have the time.
This is gonna be my last reply in this. You just don’t understand how matter conversion, mass conservation, combustion, energy conservation, animal and plant reproduction, and many other things work. I can’t teach you middle and high school science in comments on the internet, there are better resources out there. Best of luck and holy shit please do look into it and don’t make any assumptions or judgment calls because they are all wrong.

This guy’s videos. He has the perfect cadence and voice for it, and the right video length too. To be perfectly honest I have no idea if the content of the videos is good, but they’re very useful.
They ‘arise’ from the food the mother eats, inhales, etc… Her body processes and converts molecules, not atoms. She doesn’t create iron and calcium from other elements.
We don’t often speak of anything that matches your misunderstanding of how physics and chemistry work.
No thing is becoming any other thing. 2 things, one from the air and one from your body are getting tied together.
CO2 isn’t even an element… It’s not evidence because the premise is incorrect in the first place. O2 from the air you inhale is tied to C in your body and exhaled. Nothing happens to the O2, it doesn’t change. You don’t even tie all the O2 you inhale to C.
I have the same card. If those are your options, wait for the 5 series, but I would have a look at AMD as well.
I’d been using linux for work for a couple years and it was going fine. I had a pretty crappy laptop at home with limited storage and I was constantly wrestling with Windows storing update stuff, installing adware during updates, etc.
I’d heard of proton and about how well it was going with it, so I had an idea linux gaming was possible.
Eventually something happened during a windows update that required I reinstall the OS and I just pulled out the flash drive I used to install linux on my work machine and tried it out. Eventually I did have to dual boot (on a bigger drive) for some games, but nowadays I’m all linux everywhere.
What? Isn’t this a common W for steam? This seems like a good thing to me.
Jesus Christ, that’s a lot of weirdos.
Putting stuff in a calendar. Now that I’ve started doing it, I’m not sure how people live without it. I have too much stuff going on to remember exactly when things are happening and some of them are scheduled weeks or months in advance. Everything has to go in the calendar app. For things that are further out, I set reminders one week and one day before. Other than that, I also check at the start of every week, and ofc I check whenever I need to schedule something.
I’ve never rarely ever had that except one or two games in the last 15 years…
Yup. I know exactly what you mean. I bought Nobody Wants to Die, which is rated platinum on protondb, and it just crashes within 1 second of startup for me. 3h of fucking around with proton versions, launch arguments, even tried lutris, nothing. The only error I could see took me to a stackoverflow thread about vga to dvi adapter issues and the fix was not relevant. My protontricks is apparently also broken which I have no idea why or when it broke.
I got it refunded, it is what it is. I’ll look into fixing my protontricks when I have more time…
I felt like I was on the up and I got spiked like a volleyball. I’m just tired of everything.
I’ve never had a problem with the lack of a pause button. A lot of other things could be a lot better before that. Elden Ring is my favorite game but it’s ok to criticize the bad UX, terrible m+k controls, one or more bosses cheating at the game (see Malenia’s stagger), bad multiplayer mechanics, etc. I will say though that there is no reason for there not to be a pause button. You can already pause by opening a certain menu tooltip so it’s clearly possible.
I have no idea, it just made sense in my head that when you’re cropping such a small portion of the picture, any movement would be visible and would probably fuck up data. In my mind the lens(es?) are in constant motion while in use. Itty bitty tiny little movement, but movement.
Yeah this is just good news.
