Ooo similar image detection already implemented! Been wondering how I manage that!
Yeah so you can stop people tracking you. But you can’t reset it to become ‘yours’ without the original login.
I have an airtag and an android phone and I’ve seen no such prompt. Mind taking a screenshot please?
I tell my wife 3.5" is more reliable but she’s not buying it :(
Cost? I bought 3x 8TB Ironwolf drives for £115. That’d cost about £1.5k in SSDs.
Actually sounds quite reasonable and pleasant.
Do you have a server and docker running? I just set up immich and it was pretty easy.
I’d love better import and duplicate detection features. I might even wait to see what comes of this before I import the bulk of my library. I’ve already invested my Google Photos and my phone but the majority of that can be replaced by higher quality photos in my iPhoto library.
I bought a used QNAP TR-004. Seems to do the job but I didn’t realise it doesn’t support migration or expansion which is a bummer. Expansion in particular, I bought 3 8tb drives so got an empty bay that will be awkward to fill when needed.
Yeah I’ve got Debian on the server and on my laptop and I don’t know why I’d want anything more user experience focussed. It just works for me.
Yeah I can understand this. Wonder if you could block some of this frames to hide the ads.
Portainer has been good for me, what’s wrong with it?
I use an Intel NUC with a recent(ish) Intel CPU that’s good for transcoding and not bad on power. Then a 4 bay DAS. You can either get something with hardware RAID or without and do it in software. I run Debian but another OS might be better for you.
I loved it when it came out.
