That was the original plan, but seems like they will create a web app some time down the road
I got an email that said to keep an eye out for another email lol. Glad I’m one step ahead of everyone else
Doesn’t it depend on the content? Textbook vs tabloid magazine/ educational video vs top 10 celebrity meltdowns. I don’t see how one medium is inherently better than the other.
They are claiming not to train AI using your videos/info theirselves. I don’t think it’s misleading just because other people can scrape that info.
I agree with you there. I’ve personally found it very interesting to try new programs and figure out each one’s layout and work flow, but I’ve found many people absolutely hate doing that. I get it, if you want to just use the product for what it’s intended for maybe you don’t want to waste time learning the differences. All of that in consideration, I don’t think gimp is that bad
It used to be way worse. I first tried gimp 10ish years ago and instead of the program running from a single window it was like the canvas, the hierarchy tree, and every other toolbox had its own separate window. I think they updated that a while ago now.
I’m in a class right now that requires a DMR locked live service textbook. I can only access it as long as I am connected to the internet. I live where 2 back to back hurricanes just hit so I expected to not have power or internet and wanted to copy some of the text from the textbook into a txt file. However, the DRM detects the copy/paste usage and limits the ability to only copy like 100 words. After a quick search I found out the dumb-asses that created this textbook site put all of the text in <p> tags in the plain html doc.
I didn’t mention in my original post but the company only hires within, meaning that every single person within the company started at an entry level position, many of them did operate pallet jacks. Every suit that did come and pretend to look like they were working hard did do that job at one point. I think that’s what made it even more infuriating to me
I should’ve mentioned in my original post that Publix is a hires within company. Everybody including the current CEO started at an entry level position. Obviously no one person knows how to do everything, but all the top level employees ran their own department before running their own store, district, region, etc. Obviously I’m biased, my feelings toward the company are less than favorable after working there. It was just irritating to see someone who has made millions but somehow has the time to run to various stores and kick people off of bagging duty so they can pretend to look like down to earth upper management. It was my first hand experience to seeing just how unnecessary certain corporate positions really are
I used to work for Publix, a grocery chain in the south east US. They talk a big game to the new hires that no matter how high up you make it in the company, you’re not too high to do the tasks of the entry level employees. You’ll even see the CEO in some of the stores in Lakeland, Florida. I’ve always felt it was for show because all you’ll ever see anyone in a management position do is bag groceries. There could be a dozen other tasks that need doing that would take priority, but don’t worry, you have time to do those things because the guys making 6 figures are on bagger duty.
You’re right I was misremembering the reviews complaining about the UELA instead
I believe Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous has DRM and is still sold on GOG.
I’m not usually one for those types of games but I had a lot of fun with the player economy of Hayday. You don’t even need to do any farming, there were always desperate players selling low and buying high lol
Or the servers do know that and don’t want to collect on a few extra bucks to lose their job the next day.
Splinter Cell is another that is stealth based. It can be much more tedious than ghost recon, but has a lot more options for being stealthy.
I like the bird clock!
I think the worst thing about their subscription price is that it is very close to the same price as WoW or FF14, but with runescape you can only have 1 character. If you enjoyed a quest or lower level content, you have to create a new account with its own subscription. If you want to try an Ironman or hardcore character, that’s a whole other account and subscription.
I downloaded Newpipe from the Fdroid app store and it works very similar go freetube
Not even remotely the same kind of platform
