When the SD died.
Ty. Didn’t want to add “I’m using Debian, btw.”. Debian ticks all my boxes for ease of install, usage, updates, software availabiliy and - most important - stability.
Still quietly asking myself why tf that is important. I need an OS to do a task, and I need it to be as easily configurable and as unobtrusive as possible. If I was into nursing an OS I’d have stayed with Windows.
I assume that you can forget about any oft the LG ones, as they stopped providing unlock keys for the bootloader. Check the lineage vor /e OS pages for the devices for a first glance of info.
I tend to block folks who spampost the same content three to four (up to 50) times, as this messes up my All experience, then those weird nearly CSAM manga style posts, and the clearly Russian/CN spam farm users.
Some German cable providers do internal NATting please check that yours does not.
This is too true, I usually do not touch any tech stuff anymore at home, working in IT all day.
Well, I’ve had to have a plumber clear a sewer incident in a multistorey building. Cause was a chicken ribcage and other chicken bones together with a ton of grease some idiot tried to flush. And to think I thought I’d seen it all…
If you love it, then just follow that feeling and leave. Thank you kindly.
go spread your stuff somewhere else? just a kind suggestion.
I’m from Europe, the stuff they have here is good. Was hoping you had one near you to check if they ship it over. Sry if I raised false hopes.
Did you check at Aldi’s or Lidl’s? Maybe they ship it over instead of selling the local stuff. Here its in little bags and lasts years unrefrigerated.
Was thinking same, packs from unsold leasing returns. But probably not so.
TIL, ty. Always used a separate partition /home folder and plain reinstalled. Have to concede never thought of my personal machines as critical stuff is on a redundant Proxmox setup. Will try this out tonight, brain mush after work permitting.
It was an interesting read I did not repeat.
THIS. Had to read it at university. Holy moly was that a hard earned seminar.
Good explanatory article on a rather complicated topic. Ty for the link!
"Between the lines: The chaotic incidents indicate how much ultranationalists in Israel have been emboldened under Netanyahu’s governments, especially after Oct. 7.
It is also a sign of the disintegration of the IDF chain of command and the military’s internal law and order, encouraged by ultranationalist politicians who for years called the military a “liberal” institution and said it was part of a “deep state” that needs to be dismantled."
Good summary, especially the last sentence sums it up.
Fallen Haven, Master of Orion (except 3, which was really shit). Elite (PC). Played elite almost constantly after school.
