I like it, lots
I like it, lots
come on, clicked through and auto logged in to slashdot…
but my last comment was (oh shit) 17 years ago
I must say it felt weird when I had the first of my staff with a 2000 birthdate, that young falla is now an assistant regional branch manager
But they must only be like 8 years old. What are they doing down loading warez
Someone had to be first…
I’ll get mt coat
I was usig both in the early 2000’s, at that stage there wasn’t too much difference in the UIs. Gimp just seems to have stuck (more or less) with mid 2000’s design concepts in the UI
I have 3 *BSD vms on proxmox, OpnSense and TrueNAS as well as a GhostBSD desktop for ‘play’. The TrueNAS started as a bare metal install and is now in it’d 3rd 4th server
I also have 2 Macs in the house…
So I guess *BSD is well represented here, looking forward to the read
Yeah it would be nice to have other platforms intel integrated graphics and Macs would be nice
i’ve seen it here as well, just not very often
Um lemmy exposes it as well, at least for admins
Well it works well enough for my small instance, so a thimbs up from here.
I’ll also point out that it was easy to configure and chang for my needs
https://github.com/ubergeek77/Lemmy-Easy-Deploy used to work well, not sure if it is maintained still @ubergeek77@lemmy.ubergeek77.chat ?
no, they were our parents, and they never let us youngins (now around 50) forget it
I remember running BeOS back in the early 90s so I guess I’d go with Haiku
I remember them from back in the early 00s
There is a fellow kiwi that debunks conspiracies (mostly flat earth) on youtube that has come out as trans (@Planarwalk). The utter vitriol that has been directed at her since she came out (and a little before as she at that stage tended towards effeminate) has been incredible to see. Trans people must be some of the strongest folk around.
thanks, there was nothing about a licence with the original post that i saw
Well that was a rabbit hole
What licence are they using? Do you know something everyone else does not?
Just because Llama Group want to control what goes into FreeLlama? Just like every other open source with a leadership?
Winamp will remain the owner of the software and will decide on the innovations made in the official version
If I release project qwtop as open source I still retain ownership of my code and make the decisions about what makes it into the main release; how is this different so far, when we haven’t seen the licence?
<edit: see post below>
well the “new desktop edit mode” was refining the user experience and fixing bugs
