I was a kid, and a dumb one lol I’ve confused actors just because they changed their hair. In the same movie. I’m just not good with faces 😂
Dusty old bones, full of green dust.

I have nothing to add, I just had no idea! I had to look it up, I almost didn’t believe you 😂
The Sexy Brutale!
It’s a murder/puzzle game and I really enjoyed it.
I haven’t seen an add in years, but I would mute or do something else like a regular commercial break. You know, snack, maybe bathroom, check my phone, etc.
I’mma be real with you: I have zero interest in hearing someone’s reasons for voting for a fascist.
When Ty’s mom got the phone call that her son was going to be arrested, she said it was her worst fear come true: Her son’s autism was mistaken for a threat. “Once you looked at his backpack, if there was nothing in there to hurt anyone, then why did you handcuff my 13-year-old autistic son who didn’t understand what was going on and take him down to juvenile?” she said.
Why indeed.
Depressed.
I haven’t gone on walks for a bit because I just cannot stand seeing those fucking signs. My mom and grandma are in a tizzy, and my mom is just as forlorn. She doesn’t even want to vote anymore.
And I’m so, so, so angry. I’m not saying Harris would be the second coming, but that anyone would pick a fascist over anyone is infuriating. The area I live in is not bougie, these signs were sometimes outside houses that have seen better days. And they doomed us all for at least the next four years. I’m so distrustful of my neighbors not that we were close to begin with. I want to ask them why, I want to scream at them, I want to question them.
I feel helpless. All my life I believed that there was some thread of decency that connected us, a thread of common sense. But there’s none. And that’s really upsetting.
Honestly, where I live now.
I rent a bare-bones townhouse. Two rooms, and a basement with an old washer and dryer, and a small garage.
I have always lived in apartments, sometimes with fewer rooms than people. Having an entire place of my own (that’s not a studio apartment) is sometimes unbelievable to me. A washer and dryer downstairs? No quarters? I don’t have to look for a spot, I have a garage? I don’t have to cram my entire life in one room, I have an “office!?” This will likely be the closest to “home owner” I’ll get and it still feels unreal after almost two years here. It’s certainly not going into anyone’s Pinterest board, and there are issues, but I always feel “bougie” when I open the garage 🤣
I actually heard that this was most desirable in the stone age as the plumper women could survive winters and childrearing. So it is a bit like stone age photoshop, just not in the direction we usually expect.
Still don’t like bacon though 🤷🏿♀️
Guinea pig.
I was watching a school pet named Peanut. I honestly don’t know what I did, but I must have scared him or something because I opened up the cave, went to give him a pet, and he bit the shit out of my hand. His teeth actually put a nice bloody gash because I had to wiggle my hand to get him off with cause his teeth to drag. My hand was gushing blood. Would have never thought a Guinea pig could do that.
I had to beg my mom not to make me get rid of Peanut for my week. I never told the school/teacher what happened because I didn’t want to get in trouble. That was the last time my mom let me watch Peanut.
They’re trying to group them all together, and that’s not fair for this one. Around 78% of black men voted for Harris, as opposed to the around 44% of Latino men. They’re trying to distract us from the fact that a good portion of this was from white voters by mentioning Latinos anyway. Like, “How did we vote facisim. We didn’t vote for him.” That’s all I see articles for. Where are the articles breaking down why over 50% of white women voted for their own subjugation? They’re so used to black people being the scape goat, they throw us in there even when we had little impact on it.
Damn, even the Taliban is clowning on us with this one.
“Going to?”
One of the reasons I came to Lemmy was because I was tired of their rhetoric. It became very sexist and racist. Not to mention is almost all bots just posting and replying to each other. Reddit was turning into cesspool ages ago.
Had a friend in high school who was an out lesbian, very independent. Was the first person I knew married at, like, 24 or so to some guy she met online.
Had a terrible bully who got bone cancer. She still alive, but she calmed down considerably. I remember they were asking people at school to get blood tested as they were having difficulty finding a marrow match, and most of us were like “👀.”
It was great!
I could get rid of a lot of “extra” cords. I can just keep one usb c and charge my phone, my mouse, and headphones with one cord. Shoot, I can even charge my controllers now too. I like that they’re becoming like outlets. Like, this is just how you get power to the device(S). Without searching for the “right” cord all the time.
Hot
Cold
We aren’t going to be okay. Stop saying it’s going to be okay. Project 25 is not okay, turning Gaza into a crater is not okay, banning abortion is not okay, cutting Medicare is not okay. None of this shit is okay. Stop trying to sit and act like being cordial is going to make the right go, “Well, they’re being so nice about it.” We fucked up, and we need to face the consequences.
Here’s the other side that was “just as bad.”
Jesus fucking christ.
