“We hope the world hears us and knows that the people of Israel are not the government of Israel,” said one protester.

Israelis protested on Saturday night, calling for a ceasefire and the resignation of hardline Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Tens of thousands took to the streets in Tel Aviv to demand that the government reach a deal with Hamas to secure the release of Israeli hostages in Gaza.

They also called for new elections, accusing Netanyahu of prolonging the conflict to keep himself in power.

“Install”? The USA wrote the book on genocide. It’s a lot more practical to protest your own government.

So is it Biden or is it the entire government?

Once I get you to accept that it isn’t just Joe Biden riding this country into the ground maybe you will see there is a whole party of right wing fanatics that want to see Gaza in rubbles and handing them back the government is the worst possible thing that could happen.

That doesn’t imply that it’s practical for Israelis to protest the American goverment. We aren’t going to bomb Gaza if they choose to stop. And we’re not going to stop funding the bombs if they weigh in on our election. This isn’t about us.

It’s not practical to campaign against Biden even here in the states. For the same reasons.
