I wouldn’t put WW1 Germans and WW2 Germans in the same category. Yes, there was a good amount of nationalism in WW1 Germany, but they were hardly special in that regard.
Many WWI Germans fought in WWII. They were more of a monarchy leading them to war instead of dictatorship but that’s po-tay-toes po-tah-toes.
Plus, I refuse to believe Chaim was active during the entirety of WWII and didn’t help against the Nazis. Idk specifically where he was or what he was doing but its a bit farfetched to think he hid under a rock and immediately became prominent upon his return.
