President Volodymyr Zelensky presented Ukraine’s much-debated victory plan at parliament on Oct. 16, though some parts remained classified.

The proposal is comprised of five points: an invitation to join NATO, a defense aspect, deterrence of Russian aggression, economic growth and cooperation, and post-war security architecture.

The plan involves three secret addenda that have been shared with international partners. David Arakhamia, the ruling party’s parliamentary leader, said the classified parts would be presented to faction leaders.

“If the plan is supported, we can end the war no later than next year,” Zelensky said in the parliament in the presence of Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi, military intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov, and Western diplomats.

Most of this seems like a no brainer. Of course Ukraine should join NATO, the whole point of NATO is to defend against Russian aggression and they are doing that by themselves. There couldn’t be a better qualification.

Everyone wants to cooperate with Ukraine now, and rebuild it.

It all just seems like a matter of Donald Trump and EU equivalents not being elected, and “problem” NATO states being coerced to jump onboard.

Do you think every NATO country is willing to join open war with Russia?

Do you think even one is?

Mind to share which mysterious country is that wants to send its military despite, well, not doing so?

Lol. You switched from ‘willing’ to ‘wants to’ the second you got pushback. Even for a Republican, this is a hilarious quick goalpost move.

I can think of a few, Poland doesn’t need an excuse, Sweden came close during the cold War, when it was alone and the ussr makes Russia look like the joke it is.

And Finland would just start killing and I would never dare trying to stop them.

I think you massively overestimate the fear and underestimate the hate towards Russia, especially since war probably wouldn’t be fought by soldiers, but by drones.

Ukraine destroyed the facade of the powerful Russia, now they’re just a vulnerable target, and their neighbors have good memories.
