    so what happens now? they passed, sure, but pretty much everything is going against it, and I don’t see it lasting long.

    Even though republicans have majority in Senate and House, that doesn’t mean the majority of either is in favor of banning abortion at the federal level, and the fact these states are passing laws in favor of abortion rights shows that many republican politicians either feel the same or are seeing that it’s politically advantageous to be in favor.

    I do think power to the states is a slippery slope towards federal ban.
